WE WON!\u00a0 Motion to Rename Cesar Chavez Elementary School was passed!\u00a0 Thanks to all who attended the school board meeting on the 21st or sent an email.<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Mission Statement: <\/strong>\u00a0This group was formed out of a necessity to keep our school boards blue and to prevent ideologies, such as book banning, from happening in our Las Cruces school system.\u00a0 Our mandate is to support, in whatever way is needed, those school board candidates who support our democratic values and who support diverse and open learning in our schools.\u00a0 In addition to supporting candidates with our values we will fight against any and all policies introduced that do not foster a welcoming environment for our students.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
