Sheri Reinhart and Kelly Jo Waggoner of\u00a0Indivisible Las Cruces<\/a>\u00a0joined Peter Goodman and Walt Rubel to discuss the organization’s origins, its approach to civic engagement, and the upcoming No Kings Rally 3 – scheduled for Saturday, March 28th, from 10 a.m. to noon at Albert Johnson Park. The guests described how the Las Cruces chapter has grown steadily, from roughly 1,500 attendees at the first No Kings Rally to nearly 3,000 at the second, and emphasized that the movement is intentionally peaceful and community-centered. The conversation also touched on how Indivisible operates and its relationship with the national organization, which provides training and grant support while leaving local chapters autonomous.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“The Pantry” is dedicated to providing weekly food support for people living with HIV\/AIDS (PLWHA) living in Dona Anna County.\u00a0 Referrals are accepted from the NM Department of Health, Alianza of NM and area physicians who treat PLWHA.\u00a0 Funding is provided in part from the NM Community AIDS Partnership and from grassroots fundraising.\u00a0 “The Pantry” operates under the non-profit umbrella of, and is also a ministry partner of, the First Christian Church of Las Cruces.\u00a0 “The Pantry” is open to clients every Saturday, noon to 2 pm, and by appointment”<\/span>.<\/strong><\/div>\n
