color: #ffffff;\">Indivisible Las Cruces (ILC) is committed to protecting the privacy and dignity of everyone who participates in our demonstrations and public events. While photography and video recording are common at public gatherings, we recognize that not everyone wishes to have their image shared online or in ILC communications. We respect those wishes, and we ask all ILC members and supporters to do the same.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large; color: #0c71c3;\"><strong>Policy Statement<\/strong><\/span><br \/>I<span style=\"font-size: large; color: #ffffff;\">LC will proactively seek permission before photographing or recording individuals at our events, and will honor all requests not to be photographed, recorded, or have images shared publicly. This policy applies to ILC members, volunteers, and any individuals acting on behalf of ILC when capturing or distributing images from our events.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0c71c3;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Guidelines for Photographers and Videographers<\/span><\/strong><\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #0c71c3;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Before capturing images or video:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large; color: #ffffff;\">Ask before you photograph or record individuals, especially those who appear in the foreground or are otherwise identifiable.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large; color: #ffffff;\">Be alert to verbal or nonverbal cues \u2014 a hand raised in front of a face or a spoken \u201cno\u201d means do not proceed.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large; color: #ffffff;\">Be especially mindful of individuals who may face personal or professional risk from public association with political activities.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large; color: #ffffff;\">Before sharing or publishing images:<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large; color: #ffffff;\">Do not post, share, or distribute images of identifiable individuals without their consent, even if the image was taken in a public place.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large; color: #ffffff;\">If someone who appears in an image later requests its removal from ILC channels or your personal channels, honor that request promptly.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large; color: #ffffff;\">When sharing crowd shots or wide-angle images, use your judgment: if individuals are clearly identifiable and central to the image, seek consent before posting.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0c71c3;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Designated Event Photographers<\/span><\/strong><\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-size: large; color: #ffffff;\">When ILC designates an official photographer or videographer for an event, that individual will be identified to participants at the start of the event. Participants who do not wish to be photographed should make themselves known to the designated photographer, who will make every reasonable effort to exclude them from shots intended for ILC use.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0c71c3;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Removal Requests<\/span><\/strong><\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-size: large; color: #ffffff;\">If you appear in an image or video shared through ILC\u2019s official channels and wish to have it removed, please contact an ILC organizer or board member directly. We will act on removal requests as quickly as possible.
