Indivisible Las Cruces (ILC) is committed to protecting the privacy and dignity of everyone who participates in our demonstrations and public events. While photography and video recording are common at public gatherings, we recognize that not everyone wishes to have their image shared online or in ILC communications. We respect those wishes, and we ask all ILC members and supporters to do the same.<\/span><\/p>\n
ILC will proactively seek permission before photographing or recording individuals at our events, and will honor all requests not to be photographed, recorded, or have images shared publicly. This policy applies to ILC members, volunteers, and any individuals acting on behalf of ILC when capturing or distributing images from our events.<\/span><\/p>\n
Before capturing images or video:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n
When ILC designates an official photographer or videographer for an event, that individual will be identified to participants at the start of the event. Participants who do not wish to be photographed should make themselves known to the designated photographer, who will make every reasonable effort to exclude them from shots intended for ILC use.<\/span><\/p>\n
If you appear in an image or video shared through ILC\u2019s official channels and wish to have it removed, please contact an ILC organizer or board member directly. We will act on removal requests as quickly as possible. We also encourage members to extend this same courtesy on their personal social media accounts.<\/span><\/p>\n
We are a community built on trust, mutual respect, and inclusion. Our activism is most effective when everyone feels safe participating. This policy is not about limiting documentation of our work \u2014 it is about making sure that documentation never comes at the expense of a fellow participant\u2019s comfort, safety, or privacy.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/h1>\n
